Curtis Contractors
Curtis Contractors is a small but expanding road planing, paving and mechanical engineering business based in the Blackdown Hills, located near Honiton in Devon. The business was first established by Robert and Karen Curtis but was later purchased by Alastair and Rachel Dennis in 2016.
Alastair’s knowledge of the industry and business is comprehensive, having worked for Curtis Contractors for over 25 years. Previously, Rachel worked within the Agricultural sector for 20 years before taking on the office management role of Curtis Contractors.
Our main line of business is the supply of operated plant to the construction industry, alongside this we also have a fully equipped workshop and steel fabricating facility on site.
Doing what we do best
Supply operated plant equipment to the construction industry.
Running a fleet of nine planing outfits, each consisting of a skidsteer equipped with cold milling attachment and bucket brush, which are for hire with fully experienced and qualified operators.
Engineering & Fabrication
General repairs and onsite welding services, including arc, mig and tig welding. Working to your specification and to a high standard in all types of materials, e.g mild steel, stainless and aluminium.
